nene visits

nene and papa (my parents) came for the weekend. it is SO much easier with two other adults around. even though we didn't go anywhere, except one trip to SAMS club for diapers, it was very relaxing. thanks nene and papa, we enjoyed a nice break.

what a good memory

jack is a creature of habit. he gets in a groove ... like asking for the same books over and over at bedtime... and its hard to get him to mix it up a little. the other night i was walking down the hallway and heard a familiar story coming from his bedroom. he was recalling, from memory, one of the books we always read together as he lay on his bed acting like he was reading. it was cute, i loved the crossed leg - awesome. he pretty much got through the whole book (skipping a few pages by accident) at about 75% accuracy. not bad from memory.
