the DRB

we said goodbye to a very good photo intern, amanda, saturday night. the photo staff took her out on the town and then ended up at the always open DRB (daton road brewing a.k.a. rob's garage) a good time was had by all - rob is always a good host (sorry for drinking all your expensive beer btw). i caught one good frame the whole night - kim throwing rob a "whatever dude" look. you know that story about the boy who cried wolf? well, that's rob ... always the joker.

pond hockey

one of the best things about a good cold snap is good ice for pond hockey. it'd been in the single digits at night for a couple of days ... meaning the ice would be good for a pick-up game of pond hockey. i look forward to this every year ... whenever the conditions are right (frostbite be damned). it took a little extra convincing to get the gang together this time, it was only 11 degrees, with minus zero wind chill, but once the guys were out skating i could tell they were happy they showed up.

i've been sittin' on this photo for awhile ... trying not to post since its yet one more photo of jack - i was holding out, hoping to shoot something else cool, but i spent another week behind the computer ... so in an effort to keep the blog fresh i'm posting it anyway - since he's been my only subject lately. now, don't get me wrong, i love jack photos - i have a collection of favorites that tops over 200 photos ... i just don't want to overdo the "jack" factor on the blog is all ... no offense jack.
