one of the best things about a good cold snap is good ice for pond hockey. it'd been in the single digits at night for a couple of days ... meaning the ice would be good for a pick-up game of pond hockey. i look forward to this every year ... whenever the conditions are right (frostbite be damned). it took a little extra convincing to get the gang together this time, it was only 11 degrees, with minus zero wind chill, but once the guys were out skating i could tell they were happy they showed up.

Bryan this photo is great. The light and the composition just do it for me. One of those shots that embraces art and documentary aesthetics.
its too damn cold to make pictures like that. Photos are supposed to be indoors for the next month.
